Nishank & Vani – A Winter Romance at Yamuna Ghat

There’s something sacred about early mornings in Delhi—especially at Yamuna Ghat, where the city forgets to rush and the river remembers to breathe.

When Nishank and Vani reached the ghat that winter morning, wrapped in warm shawls and softer emotions, I knew this shoot wasn’t going to be “just another pre-wedding.” It was going to be a poem. A slow unfolding.

The sky was still blushing in pastel pinks as flocks of seagulls filled the frame, almost on cue. But what stood out even more than the surreal backdrop was the ease between them—no over-the-top posing, no performance. Just love, present and unfiltered.

That’s what I strive to capture in every frame:Not just how two people look together, but how they feel around each other.The small silences. The hand that finds its way without being asked. The eye contact that says, “We’ve got this.”

Vani, in her elegant ivory saree with hints of green, brought a sense of nostalgia to the frame—like she belonged to both the present and some beautiful past. Nishank matched that energy effortlessly, his warmth wrapping around her like the shawl draped across his shoulder.
